Board-certified orthopedic surgeon Dr. Michael Kindya has been in practice since 2017. He completed the prestigious seven-year combined undergraduate–medical program at Boston University, earning cum laude honors from both, then completed his orthopedic residency at SUNY Stony Brook and subspecialty training in sports medicine at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. He has treated athletes of all levels — from recreational to professional — and has presented and authored numerous peer-reviewed studies, currently reviewing research for a leading sports medicine journal. He believes education is central to care: listening to patients, answering their questions, and deciding together on the most up-to-date treatment.
